My Regimen

Rules to live by:
Only wash with shampoo when you are going to deep condition (3-4 times per month)

Always apply products when soaking wet

Detangle at least once a week for defined curls and length

Try a puff or bun or another fun style on non wash days to give your hair a break

The Regimen

Every other day I do the following:

While in the shower, wash with Nexxus Humectress conditioner (or the generic sally's brand) OR Suave Humectant and let it sit for about 3 minutes. Rinse and immediately apply leave in conditioner (I use paul mitchell "The Conditioner" and I like to use the generic Sally's brand for this.) The most important thing, so your hair doesn't feel crunchy when you add the next product, is for you to apply a generous amount of leave in. It's even good sometimes to section hair into 4 parts to make sure you reach all of the hair.

Next, you can play with the two following products and see what you like:

IC Fantasia Gel (3.99. Walmart, Sally's, Target)

OR

Kinky Curly Custard ($25, but a little goes a loooong way and it's GREAT quality. Best idea is to order this online at kinkycurly.com)

With either product, section hair again while soaking wet and apply a half dollar size to each section. Finger comb it through.

Towel blot and you should be good to go :-)
